We build gear to outlast trends and hard use. If something fails that should not have, we will make it right. Buy once. Buy right.

Our promise

Guaranteed against manufacturing defects

Every Walt Gear product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship. Disposable gear is an insult to the outdoors, so we do not make it. If a seam opens, a zip corrodes or a fault appears that comes down to how the product was made rather than how it was used, we will repair or replace it.

What is covered

Manufacturing and material faults

Failed seams, faulty zips and hardware, fabric flaws and anything that results from how the item was made. This is on us.

What is not covered

Normal wear and tear from use over time
Damage from accidents, misuse or improper care
The natural fading and softening that comes with a well-used piece of kit
Items altered or repaired outside of Walt Gear

If something goes wrong

How to make a claim

Email support@waltgear.co.za with your order number, a short description of the problem and a few clear photos. We will assess it and come back to you with the next step, whether that is a repair, a replacement or another fair resolution. For anything formal or legal, legal@waltgear.co.za is the address.

Our full warranty terms are being finalised ahead of launch. The promise above is the standard we hold ourselves to in the meantime.
